Crush Of The Day: Ishihara Satomi

Ishihara Satomi visited the Arashi Boys for a second time, this time as the guest in the always hilarious ARASHI RANKING DERBY Corner, where they get asked a question and  must rank the boys in order according to their choices. The question for this particular "race" was which one of the boys would you choose as your boyfriend, and I have to say that when Satomi came out, I was STUNNED by how frickin’ GORGEOUS she was!

You see, I’ve been watching the crime drama TOBO BENGOSHI, and as the daughter of a man who is seemingly murdered by the man she’s going out with, Satomi’s character is soooooo distraught and morose, I forgot how attractive she really is, and started to think of her as this depressed, mopey girl!

As soon as she stepped out onto that Ranking derby corner, however,  I was instantly reminded of her beauty, and what’s more, I'd forgotten how much FUN she was! As she ranked each boy, she made little comments about why they would work out or fail the test,  and she had everyone just cracking up with her curt and sassy comments, sooo funny!

Satomi was  so cute here, you can see why any guy in his right mind would want to be chosen, but, (as her first appearance in Arashi’s VIP Room a few years back revealed) she seems like she’d be an extremely hard person to please in a relationship!

During the course of the VIP ROOM interview, they asked her about various things she'd like (or dislike) in a relationship. However, as each reply came out, the boys found themselves more and more amazed by her answers!  


The interview starts off pretty normally. When talking about attentiveness in a relationship, Satomi said she would want her boyfriend to be the kind of person who would to drop everything and see her if she asked him to, no matter what he was doing. When Nino asked what if he had to work late, like til 2 in the morning, she said they could get together after, til 5! "But then he wouldn't sleep!" She said that when he's busy, she wants him to be MORE busy!

Then they asked if she'd like it if her boyfriend was passionate about a hobby.Arashi was quite taken aback to find her answer was NO! She said: "I only want him to be passionate about work! If he had a hobby, he wouldn't have time for me!" The boys were like WHOA!

Next up was: "Would you be happy if your boyfriend noticed your clothing or hair?" Her answer was a resounding No, much to the boys shock. She explained: I'd ask him, "Why are you looking so carefully at me?"To which Nino gave a big YABAI!

LOL! Then they ask her if she'd be OK with her boyfriend having female friends, of having dinner with  female co-worker. They should have seen the answer coming, which was a big OF COURSE NOT! To which a BEMUSED Matsujun quipeed, "CRAP! Satomi's Interesting!"

Finally they ask her is she'd like it if her boyfriend were fashionable. Naturally, her answer again is NO!  She says, "I'd ask him, Do you need to pay that much attention to it?" HAHAHA, at this point Matsujun gives up, saying, "If even being fashionable is a fail, I don't know what's GOOD!"To which a gigglingly embarassed Satomi covers her face...! LOL

AHAHAHA, too funny! Ah, watching the look on the guys' faces as Satomi-chan laid down the law was HILARIOUS! But it was all in fun, of course, and they still had a great time on that episode, and now, SHE'S BACK ON THE SHOW, bringing that same old SASSINESS, looking much more grown up and womanly than ever, too! TOO CUTE!


Funny, I had just been telling Car that it was time for me to get back to watching Reinoryokusha Odagiri Kyoko No Uso, that quirky drama starring a positively luscious Satomi as a would-be psychic... (I'd started watching awhile ago but put on the backburner as I waited for the rest of the episodes to get subbed) with this sudden SURGE in Satomi-Love upon me, you can BET I’ll be jumping right back into that one right away!
