If you haven’t seen the drama “Bloody Monday” yet but are planning on watching it, this is a *SPOILER ALERT* that the below entry is full of spoilers for the series! (And GEEZ, why haven’t you watched it already, it’s been almost TEN freaking years since it aired! ) ANYWAY…
While perusing the stats for Hikari Mitsushima on Dramawiki, I was startled to see her name listed in the Haruma Miura drama “Bloody Monday 2”. “Huh”, I thought. “I wonder which character she played in that.” Looking closer, I saw that the character she played was named “Spider”. SPIDER? The crazy-eyed chick playing the psycho terrorist mastermind villain was HIKARI? I couldn’t believe it!
I ran to my old folders and dug up my burned hard copies of Bloody Monday and popped it in. Holy CRAP, not only was it my crush Hikari, but she looked exactly like she does now! So I can’t say, “Wow, no wonder I didn’t recognize her, she looks so different!” Nope, Hikari looks almost exactly like how she does now! So funny that I didn’t remember her!!!
WELL! I’ve always said that Hikari was a VERY eccentric actress, and this proves it beyond a doubt! What a fascinating girl!
