Haha, they waited til episode 6 of BG: Personal Bodyguard to have (Takuya Kimura)’s ex-wife make an appearance, and when I realized they hadn’t shown her face, I knew the actress that was going to be revealed would be a surprise.
My first thought as they showed Kimura entering the restaurant to meet her was, “You know, if they really wanted to make a cool inside joke, they’d get Tomoko Yamaguchi to play his ex”…and LO and BEHOLD, that’s EXACTLY who it was!!! AHAHAHA, NICE!!!
For those of us diehard "Long Vacation” fans, it is fun to imagine that this is what became of Minami and Sena's storybook marriage- separated but with one teenage son, LOL!
