Before Sunrise, J-drama Style

Wasn't sure what to expect when I picked up the Haruma Miura three-part mini-drama "Tourist, but when I saw it starred Asami Mizukawa in the first chapter, I had to see it!
Things started off very much like those "Cell-Phone Novel Mini-Dramas" that were so popular back in the day, with an aimless Satsui Inoue (Asami Mizukawa) wandering Bangkok until she happens to cross paths with fellow tourist Makoto Ameku (Miura) and the two end up spending the entire day together, but it wasn't until night fell that I realized: this is like a Japanese version of the Julie Delpy/Ethan Hawke movie "Before Sunset" and its sequels, with the guy and girl walking around famous tourist spots as they chat and talk about their life and problems.
Second story starred pretty Elaiza Ikeda (whom I loved in "Ito Kun A to E") as Honoka Tsunomori, a woman on a three-day trip with her two best friends before her marriage, who decides to have a wild night out with the rascally Ameku, who proceeds to take her along on a exciting journey through the streets of Taipei for one final fling!
The third one stars Machiko Ono as Kaoru Tachibana, and as she confesses to Ameku (whom she'd drunkenly met the night before at a dance club), the reason for her trip to Ho Chi Minh is to spy on her cheating husband who is here with his mistress (played adorably by the wide-eyed Riko Narumi).

Grabbed this drama purely for the Asami Mizukawa love, strangely enough it was the one I liked the least, with the Elaiza Ikeda chapter the most spirited and fun and the Machiko Ono one a heartfelt, satisfying conclusion.
Seemed like they left the story of Haruma's Akemu character open, wonder if they're planning to make more chapters of this drama.
