Just wrapped up the Haruma Miura crime drama “Two Weeks” and it was a fine testament to the actor’s legacy (with even death and angelic overtones spread throughout):
But the one who really blew me away was actress Kyoko Yoshine as determined prosecutor Kaede Tsukushima! With every party having their own agendas, Tsukushima is the only one dedicated to putting the pieces together to find the real truth....
Man, she was so cool, so focused and so wonderfully emotional, she was the show’s steely conscience as the morals of the characters moved from light to dark, from good to bad...So charismatic, I could scarcely believe THIS stoic character was the same mousey actress that played Satomi Ishihara’s sister Nana Tsukushima (Hey, both of her characters have the last name Tsukushima!) in Takane No Hana all those years ago!
Kyoko in Two Weeks:
I can now clearly see that Kyoko is going to be one of those actresses to keep an eye out for!
