A very relaxing and gentle drama about a furniture Dealer namedMichiko Oganeku (Tina Tamashiro) who uses her time off taking trains out into the secluded areas of Japan to visit tucked away train stations, enjoying the people, lodgings and food fare while she is at it. Care and detail is put into each of those things she experiences, presented in a way that makes you feel like you’ve been on the journey along with her!
As some of you know, I really adore these kind of dramas which are actually more like the popular “Soko Ga Shiritai” travelogue type shows of old. Tamashiro is a wonderful choice as your companion, she gives off so much sense of excitement and wonder in seeing new things, all without saying a word.
A show to watch right before bed with a cup of tea.
