“Jofu: Josei ni xxxxtte Hitsuyo desu ka?” stars Hirona Yamazaki as Akari Fujisaki, a girl who is tircked by a well-meaning friend into applying as an online administrator for a Male Escort service called Paradiso.
A stunned Akari doesn't know WHAT to make of it!!!
Going in blind, she has no idea how the ins and outs of this world work, but with the teaching of the many colorful “therapists” on hand, she gradually learns that unlike mere prostitution, this establishment caters to the every need of the client, some more psychological than physical.
"Rio" (Yurai Beppu) explains to Akari what can usually be expected of the services he provides....
Mature themes and we do get into some risqué situations (such as this scene with Tatsuya Shirato and Miki Kanai in one of their therapy "sessions"...)
...but the thing that surprised me the most is realizing that the senior admissions director Miho who is older by Akari by few years is played by ex-Morning Musume Koharu Kusumi, whom despite her many sexy attempts to drop the idol image, still seems like a young girl in my mind!
I can’t believe Koharu’s older than Hirona Yamazaki whom, thanks to her roles in dramas like Affair Ender Rei and Grace no Rireki, I perceive as a much older woman!
This drama reminds me of "Fruits Takuhaiban" to a degree, and with Hirona on hand to charm throughout, it might be one worth sticking with! We'll see....
