The Reze arc takes over right where the original series left off, this time concerning our hapless luckless-in-love main character Denji who, after a first-time date with his beloved Makima, meets a young and vibrant girl named Reze who wastes no time stealing his heart with her cute and whimsical ways, leaving denji in a veritable love triangle! But alas, things are never as they seem, and this light and fun romcom soons turns into one of Chainsaw Man's great tragedies!
Read the source Chainsaw Man manga years ago, and though I liked it a lot, holy CRAP, watching the story come alive in such eye-popping animation is simply mind blowing!!!
The fight scenes loud and THUNDEROUS, the introspective moments soft and slow-paced, and oh my GOSH, seeing the character of Reze come alive with movement and sound was just beautiful!
