One day my friend Dan set the timer on his VCR to tape some sports show. Unfortunately for him (or rather, quite fortunately), he forgot to set the CHANNEL on the right station, so he ended up getting UTA NO LUNCHBOX, a show featuring japanese pop videos! On that fateful episode were both Miura Rieko’s new PV for her song “Dakishimete Destiny”, and also the latest video from Rieko’s group CoCo, a PV for a song called “Koi No Junction” (which will also have to appear on this list at some point!)! He immediately fell in love with the group, and the rest is history, as they say!
Funny thing about that PV for the song- it was really a stroke of luck, Dayo Ne getting that airing on tape, because it is the one Miura Rieko Video that hasn't been officially released on ANY of her Video Compilations! And that's too bad, because she is so cute in this vid, getting up in the morning, brushing her teeth and devouring a jumbo slice of toast...
