| My Shipment! 4Minute,T-AraN4 and Secret!! |
It's going to be a record wallet-breaking next few weeks as just about EVERY K-pop group I'm a fan of has some kind of new release coming out, and the first wave started today with the arrival of 4MINUTE's "Name Is 4Minute" ,T-ARA's sub-unit N4's album and SECRET's "Letter From Secret" mini albums on my doorstep!!!!
When I heard the singles from each respective album, I have to say that the only one I really liked was T-Aran4's "Jeon Won's Diary" which was instantly groovy and catchy, 4Minute's "What's Your Name didn't catch on with me until I began seeing them perform it live, likewise with Secret's Yoo-Hoo, which frankly I didn't care for at all until I saw how sweet and cuddly the girls were performing it live! Now I love 'em ALL!
As far as the packaging on these albums go, K-pop once again sets the standards- these CDs are SO freakin' NICE! Starting off with 4Minute's "Name Is 4Minute", with a hard acrylic sleeve housing a postcard quality picture book, a nice touch is the little cloth tag at the top adorned with the moniker "4Minute" to help tug out the book.
I had to laugh when I saw SECRET's CD packaging, when I read that the title was "Letter From Secret", I had no idea it was going to be like a REAL letter from them! Encased in a mylar sleeve, then a vellum pouch for the thick picture book, and another postcard envelope inside the picture book which houses the actual CD itself! So cute!!! And yep, got the Jieun Trading Card, thass all good!!!
But my favorite Album out of the shipment HAS to be the new T-araN4 CD...what AWESOME packaging!!!! Housed in a thick laminated box, this treasure case came with not only the groovin' CD, but 22 huge double-sided postcards!!! Now THAT is cool as HECK!!! I've heard that they're selling this album at a limited number, thank God I ordered early cause I wouldn't want to have missed out on this one!
Now onto the NEXT wave of Comebacks! Wallet, Brace Yourself!!!
