4 Minute Disbands

Well. it's now official that 4Minute has disbanded as Cube Entertainment has announced that Gayoon, Jiyoon, Sohyun and Jihyun have left the company, with only Hyuna remaining. This is the second group that has completely spilt up from my Golden Era of K-pop Discovery, with KARA being the first one, and with groups 2NE1, Afterschool, Nine Muses so skewed with important missing members, one can only wonder how long more they'll go on before following suit, too!
 Even groups that are still around have lost key members, Dal Shabet, f(x) and Girls Generation, and with the contracts for Rainbow and Secret coming up this year, we can only cross our fingers that our beloved groups pull through!
 Luckily, groups like SISTAR are still going strong, and in a bit of irony, though they've added and lost so many members, T-ARA are now actually back to their original core 6 debut members, LOL! Long may they ride!!
