FINALLY finished watching Tokyo Tarareba Musume, and though I liked everybody in the drama, in the end it turned into one of the most grueling dramas i’ve watched in quite a while! The show started off interesting enough, but by the 6th or 7th episode of every character making the most irritating and bone-headed choices regarding relationships, I began watching it on autopilot! I mean , I’m VERY aware that I’m totally NOT the target audience here, but this was like j-drama romance cliches 101!
But I was to find one silver lining in this drama as I watched it, as one of Rinko’s clients showed up and it turned out to be none other than beautiful Harumi Inoue. Harumi Inoue!!! OH, how I LOVED her back in the day! She was one of my very early J-drama crushes, and if I had a blog back then she would have surely been my very first “Sexy As Hell” Actress subject…my GOSH it’s been YEARS since I’ve seen her in ANYTHING!
Back then, Harumi was quite the catch and was one of the sexiest actress appearing in dramas- I first discovered her with her in the Arisa Mizuki comedy drama "Nurse No Oshigoto" and then fell in lust with her with her turn as a sexy hostess in the Zaizen Naomi drama "Omizu No Hanamichi"! There was a time I was so crazy for her I HAD to pick up her sexy photobook “FOXY”, and though it was only semi-nude, it was as spellbinding as it could be! She was really something!
In fact, I remember years later when the guitarist for my band helped me unload my drums in the house after a gig, he saw the Harumi Inoue book on my shelf, and laughing, said “HEY! I got that book, too!!!” She put her spell on all of us!
Years after that Harumi would go on to releasing her first ACTUAL nude photobook, but for SOME reason she decided to shave her head completely (well, practically) BALD! Why in the world she would do that is beyond me, but it’s the only Kishin Shinoyama Photobook featuring a celebrity I love that I DON’T own! It’s just too heartbreaking, LOL!
Like I said, I haven’t seen her in anything for some time- Dramawiki stats say her last “real” drama was the morning drama Tenka back in 2004, so it’s GREAT to see her up and about…and looking as STUNNING as ever!
