After seeing Eita and Riisa Naka running around a shopping complex that I later identified as the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse in the drama "10 no Himitsu":
I spotted it once again as a meeting place in an early episode of "Watashi No Kaseifu wa Nagisa-San" as a meeting place for two characters...
Hahaha, and after watching the last episode of the same drama, I had to LAUGH because they're not even BOTHERING to hide the fact that they're pretty much PROMOTING the place- In a scene where Nagisa has to go shopping, he goes straight to the Red Brick Warehouse... with the SIGN to the warehouse in PLAIN VIEW, LOLOL!!!
Well, with promotion like THIS, I know where everyone will be going to the next time they visit Japan- according to both TBS and FujiTV, the HIP place to be is the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse!! LOL, just LOVE this J-drama Deja Vu!
PS: Speaking of J-Drama Deja Vu, remember how much fun I had tracking down Tabe Mikako's work place in her last drama "Kore Wa Keihi De Ochimasen" using the warehouse as a guideline to find the building?
WELL, I JUST did the same thing with Tabe Mikako's workplace in Watashi No Kaseifu wa Nagisa San! By using that unusual and very distinct curved structure of the Yokohama Grand Intercontinental Hotel in the background, I could estimate just where the building would be!
Usuing the building as a compass and then checking the rooftops via Googlemaps, Didn't take but half a minute til I found that rooftop garden that Tabe and best buddy Maryjun Takahashi ate every day!
Hahah, yep, there is IS!!!!
Hahah, yep, there is IS!!!!
Yea, I don't know WHY I find this so entertaining...maybe it's 'cause I never got to visit japan in real life and am just enjoying traveling virtually~!
PS: And what would a J-Drama Deja Vu post be without another appearance of that Ferris Wheel, which appeared as the backdrop of most of the episodes as well!
