Naomi Mizuno Grows Up

 As I’m not really a fan of those “Troubled Students and their Problems” kind of dramas, I’m probably not going to watch the new Dragon Zakura sequel that started a few weeks ago, but I will say how tickled I was to see that besides Hiroshi Abe, one other cast member from the original series also returned: Masami Nagasawa, reprising her role of Naomi Mizuno!

In the original drama, Mizuno was one of those aforementioned troubled teenagers back in 2005, and now, just like Sakuragi, she's a lawyer, too!!! Hmm, looks like Mizuno did well for herself! 

 I LOVE this! Back in the first series, you always had the hope the kids would make it, and it's nice to see Mizuno did indeed succeed in her goals! Why, it seems just yesterday that she was another hopeless kid being recruited by Sakuragi...

Great to get an update on Mizuno...Now if we could only find out how Yui Aragaki’s character Hoshino has been holding up as well!

By the way, I've mentioned this before, but this was the first drama I saw Yui Aragaki in, and I thought this juvie look of hers was how she ACTUALLY looked! Was quite a shock to see how sweet she was when not in character!
