Absolutely riveting story of a researcher who creates a new pharmaceutical drug and gets thrust into the cutthroat world of big business, greed and corruption. 

Also the story of three friends, Kazuki (Atsushi Ito), the researcher who invents the new drug and is pulled between the corruption of his sponsors and seeing his drug succeed,  Wataru (Renn Kiriyama), a fellow researcher on the other end of the business, being told what to do and what to say to further his goals,  and between them Tomoko (Nozomi Sasaki), a news journalist investigating the pharmaceutical company’s sinister secrets.

As things move forward, the three childhood friends are torn apart as their ideals change and they forsake each other in pursuit of what they believe.
