Higashino Keigo: And That's Not All...!

In an earlier post, I remarked how surprised I was to discover that Higashino Keigo, an Author I'd been recently getting into, was the author responsible for the Masaharu Fukuyama detective series and specials GALILEO, a happy coincidence since I was about to read "The Devotion of Suspect x", the first book in that series-
But as I scrolled through his long list of novels, I was STUNNED to find that he had authored DOZENS of novels that had been adapted into movies and dramas, some of them BIG FAVORITES of mine!
The Hiroshi Abe "Shinzanmono" series was based on Higashino's Detective Kaga series, a fact I should have noticed since Kaga's the detective in MALICE, the book I'd just read featuring him!
Higashino wrote the AMAZING Yutaka Takenouchi drama "Samayou Yabai" a drama from a few seasons ago (about a distraught Father who hunts down his daughter's killers) which blew me away.
The compelling Yuriko Yoshitaka/Satoshi Tsumabuki murder mystery "Kiken Na Venus" with a man dealing with a mysterious woman who claims to be his missing brother's fiance...though no one's heard of her...
The disturbing psychological Kuranosuke Sasaki/Mirai Shida drama "Himitsu", about a man whose dead wife comes back to him in the body of their teenage daughter...
...the incredible (if bleak and dark) drama Byakuyako with Ayase Haruka and Yamada Takayuki as two teenagers on the run from the law for the murder of their parents...
Higashino even wrote the novel that the Ninomiya Kazunari, Nishikido Ryo, and Erika Toda mystery Ryusei No Kizuna from way back in 2008 is based on!
..not to mention the 2003 Yukie Nakama/Naohito Fujiki movie "G@me"!!!
I see there are also a BUNCH of Mystery Theatre type mystery dramas based around Hisgashino's short stories!
In one synopsis, Keigo Higashino is noted as "Japan's Favorite Mystery Writer!", so I guess it is some wonder I'm only discovering his novels now! But with the sheer amount of adaptations he's gotten, it certainly must be true!
