Advice For The Lovelorn: "Love-Com No Okite"

Chiaki Kuriyama returns in the fun rom-com "
Love Com No Okite: Kojirase Joshi to Toshishita Danshi " along with Yuta Koseki as her seeming love interest! Our story:
Ruri Kujo (Kuriyama) is the head of a popular Manga publishing company where she is much admired for her direction, fashion style and extensive knowledge of love and romance!
The girls in her office fawn all over her and are constantly asking for advice in their love lives, and as their sempai, she cannot refuse their requests!
Rio Kanno, hibiki and Shima Izutsu
She coaches them all about their relationships and who and what they should be doing, but Ruri has  a dark secret: She’s actually a romance noob with zero experience about ANYTHING about love, and ALL her advice comes straight out of the comics she reads!
Only her younger brother Kota (Takuya Kusakawa) knows her secret, and is constantly chiding his older sister about her sham romance superiority. “I feel sorry for those girls you give advice to!” he shakes his head, but Ruri can’t seem to stop! Her image as a “perfect” woman eclipses all reason and so no matter the situation, if she is asked for her input, she will always give it, even if it gets her into situations she’d rather avoid!
How did Ruri ever get this way? Once upon a time she was a bright-eyed young girl who believed in love just like anyone else. But after a mean-spirited relationship with a back-stabbing trash talking beau soured her on the whole idea of romance, she retreated into a world of manga where everyone is predictable and all problems work themselves out in the end!
There is a guy in her department named Ryo Mamiya (Yuta Koseki) who is considered a “perfect” guy, and Ruri considers him a rival. But one day he confides in her and tells her he’s been unlucky in love..and wants her, a perfect woman, to COACH him and help him get the girl he loves!!!
Ruri knows she shouldn’t. Despite her bravado, she has ZERO experience with courting and would only show herself up if she tried. But her nagging desire to be seen as perfect overrides her and she ends up AGREEING to help him!
Much hijinks ensue as the inept supervisor tries desperately to educate Mamiya even as she is scrambling to research  the situations in her comics…and even rooking in her poor brother for actual advice, amking him TEXT what to say on her "date"! LOLOL!
As she fumbles through the lessons day after day, she seems to be making a good impression despite her lack of knowledge…or is it just that the girl Mamiya is in love with Kujo herself?
At this point, we’re still not sure what Mamiya’s actual intentions are, if he is truly looking for advice from Ruri, or using the lessons to get closer to her…But in either case, Ruri is getting some romance schooling of her OWN!
Ahhh, so nice to see Chiaki Kuriyama again, and in a light-hearted rom-com, no less!
I first fell in love with the "Stylish OL who’s secretly a cuttle-fish chewing, beer drinking slob" in Hotaru No Hikari...
...and with dramas like Love Com No Okite and the Rika Izumi drama “Takane No Hana-San,  it seems the trope of the highly efficient Office Woman who’s actually an inept mess is back in fashion!!!
