So I was wracking my brain throughout a ENTIRE episode of QUEEN trying to place where I had seen the very pretty actress playing an Olympic Figure Skater named Noriko accused of murdering her boyfriend…
As i watched it, I kept telling myself, “I know I’ve seen a drama or movie out there recently with this actress because I remember those three beauty spots under her left eye…” But try as I might, I just could NOT place her.
Indeed, it wasn’t until the entire episode was over and I’d made my way to the official FujiTV QUEEN page that I realized the girl I’d been watching for the last 45 minutes was none other than Sei Shiraishi, the actress playing the younger Sayaka Yamaguchi Noriko character in “Zettai Seigi”!!
Man, it’s so funny how different an actress can look under different circumstances- in QUEEN she is supposed to be an outgoing, dazzling girl and looks accordingly, in Zettai Seigi she is supposed to be dour and moody, and gives off the appropriate aura! (Funny how she was named Noriko in both roles)..
Hmm, according to Asianwiki, I’ve actually seen Sei even earlier, in the Nanao drama “Miss Devil” where she played Mafuyu Todo, one of Shori Sato’s rookie friends fighting against the evil Nanao…
I guess she didn’t make that much of an impression on me back then,(since I'd forgotten all about her) but I have a feeling we’re going to be seeing a LOT more of Sei Shiraishi in the future!!!
