Guilty: Kono Koi wa Tsumi Desuka

WOW,  for a drama that started out like a one dimensional romance drama of infidelity, it turned into an INTRIGUING thriller, one full of lies, deception and mindgames!
Beautiful Yua Shinkawa stars as Sayaka Ogino, a sweet and dedicated businesswoman who seems to have it all: a rewarding job with lots of opportunities, trustworthy friends whom she can rely on, and a cool and caring husband who cherishes her.
But when the wide-eyed Sayaka discovers a betrayal by one of them, her world turns topsy-turvy, and the more she uncovers, the more she soon finds that her everything and everyone she believed in has been an illusion.
That was the general premise of the first few episodes, and I will admit that I wasn't totally overwhelmed by the show. A torrid tale of illicit affairs isn't anything new and wasn't really my cup of tea.
But THEN, just as I was about to write off this drama, it is SOON revealed that what we have been told is only the surface, and that underneath lies a far-reaching conspiracy that threatens to destroy the lives of everyone involved!
Gotta say I was on the edge of my seat for a large part of those last few episodes...whodathunk that from such a mundane beginning I would have gotten such a satisfying story!!
