Will Somebody Please Give Aya Ueto Something to Do?

I always thought that despite being one of the main characters featured on the drama banner for Hanzawa Naoki, actress Aya Ueto had the most insignificant roles in the show, basically just there to be the wife who has to hear of Hanzawa's transfers and demotions and the ever-abysmal "I Have to Work Late" cliche...
Seeing her once again featured in the Hanzawa Naoki sequel, I was hoping that THIS time they would DO something with her character...but checking it out, it wasn't long before the "Honey looks Like I'll Be Late Home From Work" scene made its appearance!!!!
I mean, Aya is lovely to look at and all, but JEEZUS! Is there ANY reason they need a high-calibre actress for this role? This should have gone to a rookie actress who could use the exposure and make a name for herself, not someone who is already established.
Reminds me of when they got Keiko Kitagwa to play a one-dimensional jealous girlfriend in the Takuya Kimura drama "Tsuki No Koibito. Please stop wasting talent like this.
Speaking of rookies, pretty Mio Imada, whom stole my heart in SUITS fares better in the show, given actual things to do like tracking down people and doing detective work...
Nice to see her making her mark!
