Looks like beautiful Mio Imada has grabbed the lead role in NHK's upcoming asadora ANPAN, telling the story of ANPANMAN creator manga artist Takashi Yanase....Mio will be playing his wife Nobu!
Wonder how much this drama will follow the pattern of the similar-themed asadora Ge Ge Ge no Nyobu which told the tale of GeGeGe no Kitaro creator Shigeru Murai through the eyes of his wife Fumie...That one made me fall head over heels for actress Nao Matsushita, and if these promo pics are any indication, Anpan will do the same for Mio!
Set for early 2025, this is one to look forward to!!!
