A Wild Eda Yuka Appeared!

  Finishing up the last few episodes of Hanasaki Mai Ga Damattenai (and just in time too, as it’s been announced a second season is happening) and as I watched a scene with Mai Hanasaki (Anne) chatting with her bankteller workmates, I suddenly sat up straight and said to myself, “That girl in pink looks JUST like Yasuko Matsuyuki’s little sister in TAKE FIVE!”

As the show progressed I was convinced that my assessment was correct, and sure enough, when the end credits ran, the name “Eda Yuka” appeared! It’s SO nice to see her…and looking as FABULOUS as ever!

You all may remember when I gushed about Yuka way back when watching Take Five, she was so pretty in it (and really, quite believable as the little sister of Yasuko Matsuyuki, beauty spot and all, LOL), but then…NOTHING! After that, I didn't see her in any other dramas... and over at the dramawiki site, her name is still written in the dreaded “red” color, meaning that while the actor/actress may be listed in that particular drama, clicking on the name will lead to a sparse or empty stub.. Hopefully she’ll have a decent filmography under her belt soon!

Who's That's Girl: It's Eda Yuka!

 Oooh, One more thing I've just GOT to mention regarding TAKE FIVE is the fact that though she's got only a secondary role in this drama, the actress playing Yasuko Matsuyuki's little sister Sae is SUCH a CUTIE, I just HAD to look her up and see if I could find out anything more about her! 

   Well, I soon found out that this pretty young actress's name was Eda Yuka and it seems (like so many others before her), that her roots are from the ever-lasting Kamen Rider Pantheon (with Yuka guest starring as Sayaka Mibu in the Kamen Rider Fourze series), but aside from that, I didn't find much more...   
After  searching all the usual Japanese drama sites and only coming up with the drama Runaways, I had to come to the conclusion that she was jsut starting her acting career and so not much info would be out there... Happily enough, I DID come across this wonderful pictorial online Yuka did, showing just how BEAUTIFUL n SEXY she is! Hope to see more of her in this drama! (And Hey, more pictorials like this wouldn't hurt either, LOL)
