Keihan Ensen Monogatari

Also just started  Keihan Ensen Monogatari, the story of a girl novelist named Jun Imachi (Sakurako Konishi) who, faced with sudden fame of a best-seller and the pressure of a follow-up book, flees Tokyo and ends up at a curious station between Osaka and Kyoto.
While thee, she meets a young girl named Kokoro (Chise Niitsu) and a young man named Sosuke (Shunsuke Nakamura) who invite her to a humble little inn which accommodates but one group per night, with only one payment: to try the food they offer to eat.
That evening,  they take her down to a small eatery where they prepare a sumptuous meal of Nakagawake. Imachi tries the meal they present, and instantly finds it wonderful indeed!

Digging in heartily, she is inspired to take stock in herself and try another day, and…HEY WAIT, I just realized...THIS IS ANOTHER FOODIE DRAMA!!!
What the HECK is going on??? How come EVERY drama I’m watching lately devolves into another food-centric show
high on the MEAL description pandering but LOW on the plot????
Only days after watching Izakaya Nobu, they got me AGAIN!!!
LOLOLOL, I can’t get away from them, HELLLLPPPPP!!!!
