Mayonaka ni Hello (Project)

Very bizarre drama about a Mom and daughter who run a guest house with a variety of troubled guests. The Mom (Momoko Kikuchi) is a Morning Musume fanatic, blasting the pop tunes at all hours of the day, driving daughter Misaki (Yuno Ohara) crazy!
Mom starting off the day having her morning coffee while listening  to "Morning Coffee" on full volume!
...'til daughter comes to tell her to KEEP IT DOWN before she wakes the guests!

Too late, this week's guest (Ono Ito) is already woken and bothered and wants them to be quiet!

"Sorry!"

We are then presented with this week’s problems, and then the Mom plays a special song to "enlighten" the guest, saying it will make them feel better....

Whether is works or not is not apparent...but later when she is walking down the street, a mysterious door appears to teleport  her to a magical world where Morning Musume (?)  sing the guest words of encouragement/enlightenment and she gets the courage to fight on!

She then leaves the Guest House a happy and satisfied guest!

LOLOL,What a wacky drama!

I say “Morning Musume" and I assume that’s who these singing girls are(???), but though I was a HUGE Momusu fan in the early days, I have no IDEA who the current ’22 Morning Musume girls are or what they look like. so they could just be random Hello Project girls?

Truth be told, not really a drama I’m too wild about (and probably gonna skip), but I freely admit that if this drama came out during the Gen1-4 Morning Musume when I was still a rabid fan, I would have EATEN this drama UP!

Morning Musume's OG Reunion on the FNS Kayosai

There was a time there in the early aughts where Hello Project group Morning Musume was my favorite J-pop group, and for awhile there my favorite song from them was their debut single "Ai No Tane". This was the original 5-member group who were told if they sold a certain amount of copies they would officially become Tsunku's new act (and once they did he decided to add three new members of his own) and so it was a thrill to hear that they would be reuniting for a performance at this year's FNS Year End Concert Special!
Back in the day I was totally in love with Aya "Ayappe" Ishiguro so I was particularly excited to see her again (and YES, she looked BEAUTIFUL!) , but what surprised me even more was the appearance of Asuka Fukuda, the "main vocalist" of the group who was the first to leave the biz for a "normal" life. Members like Yuko Nakazawa and Kaori Iida occasionally appeared in reunion acts over the years but I didn't realize that this would be the first time seeing Asuka since Gen2!
Seeing the girls again was so thrilling and hearing the wonderful song again brought tears to my eyes!
Such a sincere and emotional performance!
It was such a thrill to see these girls again!!!

Time Really is Flyin’ Here….

The last time I think I really noticed solitary Seventh Generation Morning Musume member Kusumi Koharu was probably around 2006. I was already growing out of the MM fandom (Rika Ishikawa’s graduation was the final blow) and by the time they announced the prospects for Generation 8 I wasn’t paying much attention.
I vaguely recall seeing her in later vids and clips, but once she graduated in 2009 she was completely off the grid for me.
So I was recently on some “Sexy Gravure idol” forum and whose name should I see listed there but Koharu Kusumi! My memory of Koharu was of a cute 14 or 15 year old girl who was like a “little sister” to her older Momusu compatriots, so when I was saw her name listed, I thought it HAD to be a mistake! Surely there must be some OTHER idol with that name!
Clicking on the link to see who this chick was, I was properly floored tofind THIS image:
Holy TOLEDO, come to  find that this girl was not only the very same Koharu Kusumi from Morning Musume days of Yore, but she had grown into a stunning, sexy young lady in the past few years! WHOA!

I'm sure this will be old news to those of you who have continued to follow Hello Project and updates on all their past and present members, but for someone like me who has been out of the loop for so long....
Remember in the movie Sin City where Bruce Willis' Hartigan rescues 11 year old “skinny bookworm” Nancy Callahan and his reaction when he meets her 9 years later to find she had grown up into a stunning 20 year old Jessica Alba? Yeah, my reaction was like that!!! LOL
