J-Drama Femme Fatales: Kang Jiyoung

Well, just got through watching the incredibly zany Yamada Ryosuke movie “Assassination Classroom”(Ansatsu Kyoshitsu), a movie about a class of misfit students that are recruited by the government to kill their teacher, an alien creature posing as an instructor who tells them that if they cannot successfully kill him before the end of the semester, he will destroy the earth... 

Yeah, the film was just about as silly as it sounds, but there was one BIG perk of watching it- throughout the show, they kept introducing new government assassins posing as transfer teachers and students, and among them was an extremely hot and sexy bombshell named “ Irina Jelavic”, played by pretty Jiyoung, she late of K-pop group KARA!

Man, when Irina came out with all GUNS ABLAZIN' I was all like WHOOO HOO check out this HOT, Kick-Butt Lady! Aww, too bad that once defeated by the Alien Teacher "Koro-Sensei", she spent most of the time sitting off to the side brooding impotently... No matter, she still looked sexy as hell!

One of the funnier aspects is this sultry teacher’s name,  Ms Jelavic.  Vic is pronounced “Vich”, and as you all know, since the “V” sound doesn’t roll off the Nihongo tongue very well, her students end up pronouncing her name slightly DIFFERENTLY! Hilarious scene where she’s trying to tell them the difference between her name…and what THEY’VE been calling her!

But it’s all in fun as Ms. Jelavic’s sluttiness is pretty much the comedy relief in the show! I mean where else can the class have an overnight sleepover in the school and the teacher comes dressed in her Negligee? LOL

Damn, gotta say, when I first began watching Assassination Classroom, I didn’t even recognize her-  the blonde wig was an obvious throw-off, but additionally Jiyoung was probably the last actress I expected to see here…

 I guess I shouldn’t have been TOO surprised, though, since she played another little hottie in the equally crazy monster-in-the-classroom drama JIGOKU SENSEI NUBE! Mmmm, She’s been lookin’ HELLA fine!!!

J-Drama Femme Fatales: Ashina Sei

 You know, while I remember Sei Ashina in the thriller Bloody Monday as THIRD-I agent Kaoru Minami as being a really pretty woman, starring among such highly sexualized characters like Kichise Michiko’s Maya Orihara and Minase Yashiro's Ladybird  made her character seem more of a “cool and tough” chick than one of sexiness, but MAN, as super-sultry forensics scientist Yaeko Madarame in the latter episodes of Kurokochi, Ashina is going ALL out with the sleek SEXY SLUTTINESS and making her one of the MAIN reasons for me to turn in!!!

Ashina came aboard early in the Kurokochi series as a Temp in the Police Investigator Unit's Forensics Lab filling in for a strangely-absent Sawa Machiko (Yu Kashi), and what an entrance it was! Looking simply stunning and showing off sleek, killer legs, WHOA! Though part of me was wondering where Machiko had gotten to, another part of me wasn't too worried about it if THIS was the substitute they'd gotten!

I was initially disappointed that Machiko wasn't around for the sexy hijinks, Yaeko wasted no time taking over the same role as Kashi’s character, almost immediately hitting upon poor Seike (Gouriki Ayame) and escalating the sexual tension til she was literally making Seike sit in her lap during the course of the investigation! ZOUNDS!

Man, who would have ever thought that the girl playing the hard-as-nails straightlaced agent Minami in Bloody Monday could be capable of such utter bawdiness? But then again, one of the very first characters I’d ever seen her play was in the drama “Tsubasa No Oreta Tenshitachi” as a supporting member of Karina’s story as a Cabaclub Hostess, so I suppose it was preordained!

J-Drama Femme Fatales: Dan Mitsu

   Luscious, Luscious, Luscious!!! That’s the mantra going through my mind these past few episodes of drama "Hanzawa Naoki" regarding the gorgeous Dan Mitsu in her role as Higashida’s seductive mistress- SO sexy and hypnotic seeing her onscreen that before I knew it I was writing up yet ANOTHER gush on her loveliness, this time as the drama's resident "Femme Fatale"!

I thought I had seen it all seeing her rocking a bikini, but as I devour scenes of her in the sexiest of dresses and ensembles (as befitting her occupation of a Caba-Club Hostess),  I realize this chick is just TOTAL babe-ness WHATEVER she's wearing!!!!

I ‘d originally thought Dan Mitsu’s role as sultry Fujisawa Miki was going to be a minor background character but I have to apologize as Miki has turned into a major player in the game being dealt here! Who would have thought an actress with such a mousey voice could deliver such powerful passages, going head-to-head with Sakai Masato himself and creating such dynamic, gripping scenes!

   Growlll, even when she’s her usual brooding silent self, the flames of anger burn slowly behind her eyes, and you can actually FEEL the rage she’s feeling against Hanzawa, THAT’s how intense some of these scenes are! Pretty unbelievable how much depth this character actually has...you find yourself actually CARING about her...and that's a dangerous thing!!! Whoa, gotta get back for MORE!!!

J-Drama Femme Fatale: Wakamura Mayumi

One of the things that kept me going through the so-so Aibu Saki drama REBOUND (where Aibu donned that famous fatsuit) was the stellar performance by sexy actress Mayumi Wakamura as Saki’s viciously fierce “Devil-Wears-Prada” boss Ran Morinaka at her Fashion Magazine job EDEN. From her first appearance I was drooling over this svelte cougar of a woman, and watching her tear her employees to shreds (metaphorically speaking, of course) was sheer joy to behold!

At first reminding me of a mature MEGUMI, Mayumi plays one of those older femme-fatales along the likes of Maho Toyota or Yumi Aso, with a steely gaze as sharp as a cat on the prowl, and rocking that “Aeon Flux/Agent 99” bob Hairstyle that always conveys “Don’t Mess With Me!” AHAHA!

Heads Are Gonna Roll!

Though hard-as-nails, they hint at a thoughtful side to her, and they continued to expand her character throughout the drama so that by the end, you’ve come to love and respect her, as does Aibu Saki’s character Nobuko, as well! She’s simply a hard-driven career woman that simply loves fashion and all that that lifestyle entails.

Building this statuesque pillar of a woman didn’t stop them from putting her into the most zanily demeaning of situations, however, and I must confess a certain thrill watching her getting delirious trying to polish off an entire platter of pastries. Gastronomically engaging!

Ahahaha, how I loved this scene! Nobody looked quite so sexy when  just about to toss their cookies as Mayumi did here, and though  emotionally scarred sweets-wise, she even made time at the end of the series to dramatically eat a slice of Apple Pie, a wonderful capture that I've posted up in my still ongoing Tabemashou! Site!

Looking over at the Tokyohive site, looks like Mayumi will be appearing next in the new Emi Takei mystery drama "Wo No Higeki"...Can't wait to see what she'll look like in this one!
