A friend had put this Eri Hiramatsu song onto a cassette compilation, and I liked it so much, I wanted to have the real CD single of it, so I made my way downtown with my friend to the CD rental store that sold old and out-of-print CDs.
We started poring through the CD single section, with him starting on one end, and I on the other. After about 20 minutes I began to give up hope, when he came up to me and asked, “Do you think I’m Santa Claus?” as he handed me the Eri Hiramatsu single! YATTA!
Months later, My friend Golden was into Tomoko Yamaguchi (after seeing her awesome portrayal in LONG VACATION), and he gave me a copy of some Pay-Per-View movie he’d ordered starring her and Dr. Hiraagi(!). I was happily surprised when the ending song turned out to be none other than Anata No Inai Kyijitsu! Even better was the fact that they’d SUBTITLED the song, and so now I even had the translations of this winsome single!
