What I'm Watching Right Now

Juggling about 20 J-dramas right now and I just thought I'd take the time to list and rank them by how much I'm enjoying them!

1. My BIG Favorites!
These are the Dramas that keep me checking in each week and remind me why I got into J-dramas in the first place! These are the ones where I devour each episode as it comes out week by week and wait IMPATIENTLY in between!!!
1. Toto Neechan
2. Fight Song
3. Mystery to Iunakare
4. Tsuma Shogakusei ni Naru

2. Secondary Faves
Good dramas that I enjoy watching but not top priority watching...Ones that I save for the weekend!
5. Koisenu Futari
6. Shimobee
7. Tetsuota Michiko 2man Kiro
Tonari no Chikara
Itoshii Uso: Yasashii Yami
Muchaburi!: Watashi ga Shachou ni Naru nante

Boku No Neechan
Dr. White
Shijukara
Mistress: Onnatachi No Himitsu
...and still waiting to finish:
Konin Todoke ni Han wo Oshita Dake Desuga
Gyoretsu No Megami
3. Also Watching
These are OK dramas but probably on the "I'll watch when I have time" list.
Dramas that for one reason or another just never really WOWED me like the above shows.
Mikkoku wa Utau
Suteteyo, Adachi-San
Bucho to Shachiku no Koi wa Modokashi
Harekon
Youtuber ni Musume wa Yaran
4. On Hold
These are dramas languishing in that dreaded Subtitle Limbo which I have no idea when will be completed.
Koi Desu: Yankee-kun to Hakujou Garu
Kanojo no Ura Seaki: Akiko Side
Himitsu No Ai-Chan

Dropped Dramas
Dramas that I watched the first few episodes of but decided not to continue watching 'em.
Of course, It's always possible that I might go back and watch them once they're completed.
DCU
Mayonaka ni Hello
30 Kin Sore wa 30-sai Miman Okotowari no Koi

Crush of The Day: Mitsuki Takahata

Just had to take a time-out from watching Toto Neechan to declare that thanks to this asadora, adorable Mitsuki Takahata has become this week’s MUCH DESERVED Crush Of The Day recipient!

Actually quite surprising that Mitsuki hadn’t graced Crush status already with all the wonderful dramas she’s been in that I’ve loved, but her warm, and charming character of Tsuneko in Toto Neechan is the one that FINALLY did it for me!!
I must say , the time period really suits Mitsuki’s looks, especially when she’s wearing the blue gingham blouse and navy blue skirt, she looks so scrumptiously wholesome, also the hairstyle really compliments her face!
Strangely, the times I think she looks the cutest is when she’s just standing there with a stunned and wide-eyed look on her face, so adorable!!!
I guess in some ways it's like her Kahoko character in Kahogo no Kahoko, but somehow sweeter because rather than being clueless, she just looks amazed all the time, LOL

PS: this scene of them eating this cake is so cute- look at how she eats it- the others nibble the cake evenly but Mitsuki's one has the cake part eaten but the bean part still full, LOL

And  like all best crushes, I found myself screencapping the most mundane of scenes, over and over again...
The promotional picture for Toto Neechan showed Tsuneko in a mid-dash pose, an entirely accurate portrait because my GOSH does this girl do a lot of running throughout the series!
While I admit that at first I had my reservations (MAN was I bored for the first week), once the family moved to Tokyo, things immediately started moving and by week 4, I was regretting not grabbing the larger files of this asadora.
As fate would have it. the next two episodes, episodes 24 and 25 were unplayable (don’t know what the problem is but I downloaded them TWICE and they wouldn't play past the first few seconds) so in the end I downloaded the entire series again, THIS time, choosing the 720 files, resulting in a much better pic and ALL the better for the Mitsuki Takahata goodness!!!
OK, Back to more Toto-Neechan...
