f(x) First Concert Dimension 4 Docking Station Bluray Arrives!!!

f(x) Dimension4 Docking Station First Concert Bluray
Just finished watching the awesome, awesome DIMENSION 4 DOCKING STATION Concert Tour release from SM Entertainment electropop group f(x) and it was as cool and rocking as I knew it’d be! f(x) debuted in 2009 but have never before gotten the full concert treatment, so even though it was a tour for their latest album 4 Walls, they made sure to cover the entire spectrum of their catalog, from their first single all the way to the present, making for an ENTIRELY satisfying experience!

Besides  doing all their popular tunes like “Hot Summer”, “Nu ABO”, “La Chata”, “Pinocchio” and the like, they also did a ton of songs they’d never performed live before and it was a thrill to see them do songs like “Dangerous” “Dracula”, “Zig Zag” and “Sweet Witches”!
The Concert was broken up into about 4 or 5 different sets and each time they came out with another dazzling costume change- I think i’m a pretty picky guy when it comes to stage outfits but i love, love LOVED every one of them! Well, the last set was the encore so they were wearing the standard baggy t-shirts, so i guess that one doesn’t count , but…
The concert opened explosively with the girls doing a killer “Electric Shock” and then right into “Red Light”, and from there they dug into their extensive catalog of songs, sometimes doing the songs in their complete from but usually stringing a few of them together in a “medley” form, the hits kept coming so fastened frantic  you barely had time to register how many songs you’d heard!
All of the songs performed were great, but ones that stood out for me and REALLY MADE the show were performances of “Dracula”(big fave of mine off Red Light), “Sorry”(MAN, Krystal and Luna belted their HEARTS out on this on), Step (I always loved how danceable this song was and sure enough, it got EVERYONE going!), “Beautiful Stranger”, and JET, probably THE song that made me first fall in love with f(x) all those years ago, thrilling to see them doing it live after all these years and still killing it!
So I was really digging the scene, but by the time it got to their third set, I was noticing a huge lack of stuff from the new 4 walls album. Thankfully, the third set was dedicate almost entirely to covering the songs form that one, and MAN, what a crowd-pleaser it was! Every one was at the edge of their seats, so energetic!
For the final set it was the “encore” portion, so of course the girls came out in t-shirts and this is where they once again walked out into the audience, while singing “So Into U’ and the it was their signature “Hot Summer’, (the single that they released as a Japanese version in japan and therefore was the only song sung in Nihongo) and then closing with the power ballad “Ending Page, a very emotional end to a 2 hour+ concert!

Making Movie

Some notes: The girls have not as of yet changed the choreography of the songs that originally had Sulli in, and for those they got one of their dancers to fill Sullis’ place, Luna, Vic , Krystal and Amber filled in for Sulli’s vocals, but it was hard to get used to seeing another girl in Sulli’s place.
I also noticed that one of the songs on 4Walls, “Cash Me Out”, seemed to have been choreographed for 5 girls since even that song had the back dancer with them. Would have been quite something to have been able to see them with all 5 memebrs, but all in all, the group is progressing very nicely as a quartet and am looking forward to whatever they do NEXT!
