The History Of Girl's Day with "Kira Kira SLIM"

Yura, Jihae, Minah, Sojin and Hyeri
Having only recently gotten fully into Girl’s Day, it’s been great watching their Japanese(!) reality show “Kira Kira Slim” because it’s really given me a lot of insight into the girls personalities. The show is pretty old (aired around 2010-2011) and they may have changed a bit since then, but it still gave me a new and fuller appreciation for each member. Watching this show I realize how each girl has their own distinct style.
Girl's Day Leader Sojin
I always knew Sojin was the Leader, but I never knew how authoritative and more mature than the others she was. Seeing her take command hosting their trip to Hongdae, doing all the talking and introducing all the famous eateries on the strip, she was really knowledgeable and you could see the other girls looking up to her.
Yura and Jihae
For the first time I am getting to know Jihae. She officially left the group late 2012, but even before that she hadn’t appeared with them for awhile, so I never got to see her in any of the performances I saw. A very pretty girl, Jihae’s role in the group seemed to be the stylish and girly girl, always with very sexy dresses  and skirts. I still am not real sure about why she left the group, she seemed to fit in well and looks happy here, anyway.
Now, I think I mentioned before that I originally thought Yura was the maknae, watching these old shows, I think it even MORE, she REALLY is like this adorable and innocent little sister. There was this scene where Jihae was taking Yura with her looking at accessories and it was really cute how they seemed like a big sister and a little sister!
Hilariously Frustrated Hyeri
Like I mentioned before, I really dig how goofy and spastic Hyeri is. I’m so used to seeing her as this very elegant looking model-type, seeing her running around hugging on everyone and tomboyishly laughing her wide-mouthed guffaws, I love how playful she is, I can still see that impish glee in her now.
Yura and Minah
I was really surprised by how down-to-earth Minah was back when this show was airing. Far from the pretty frontwoman we see nowadays, Back then she seemed like the fun, dorky girl, the one that seemed like she would be you best friend. No makeup and wearing glasses, a girl really cool and comfortable with who she is, someone you’d like to just hang out with!
I’m about halfway through Kira Kira Slim’s 26 Episode run, and with each chapter, I’m getting to know them better and better!!
