Dramas Of Future Revisited
Some of you may recall a few years ago when I was gushing about a great new drama I’d just started watching named Mirai Nikki: Another World starring Okada Masaki and Gouriki Ayame. Well, gushing about Gouriki Ayame, anyway...
alas, a few days later when I was organizing my desktop, I accidentally deleted the folder I kept my J-dramas in, and didn’t even realize it til DAYS later when I was looking to watch a show. Of course, by then my trash-bin had LONG been emptied, and so I lost everything that was in there- dramas, videos and movies. I was all like:
Fortunately, most of them had been already transferred over to my J-POP harddrive, but there were a handful of them that I lost for good, and had to try and get all over again. Such a painstaking process, and in the end, there were a bunch that I never managed to get again, including Mirai Nikki, which I had only begun watching! Over time I began to think I'd never get it again...
So about a week ago I was browsing the forums and was STOKED to hear that the awesome ASIATORRENTS site was heralding its long 10 YEAR Anniversary, and in celebration, was giving its members Torrent Freeleeching- what an awesome offer! This was an deal I IMMEDIATELY took up!
So with this wonderful promotion, I downloaded a few good movies I’d wanted to see (Chizuru Ikewaki’s “Strawberry Shortcakes” and the Emi Takei Movie “Clover”), and that evening, as I let the files seed back, I remembered that I’d always meant to re-download Mirai Nikki if I could…and sure enough, checking their J-dramas, they had it up for grabs- and GRAB IT I DID!!! YATTA!
Slowly getting back into the show (had been so long since I saw it, I had to watch it all over from the beginning again!) and it is so sweet to see Gouriki Ayame back doing her adorable and cute roles- while I loved her in Kurokouchi and her new show Tenshi To Akuma, she does tend to play these…quirky and odd characters nowadays rather than girly roles…sure nice to see the Gouriki I fell in love with again!
As I was prepping to do this post, I realized when I deleted that folder with the dramas, I even lost the screencaps I made for that original post (thank god I uploaded it to the blog so they were archived on my Picasa page!), GADS, what ELSE did I lose in that deletion that I still haven’t realized yet? Thank Kamisama for the generosity of AsiaTorrents, they’ve got me BACK on the Mirai Nikki track!
