Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary

First saw model-turned-actress Matsuyama Mary in the 2011 Emi Takei drama “Asuko March”, where she played a sexy hostess rival for “cool dude” Aruto (Tori Matsuzaka)’s affections against Emi’s sweet and innocent Nao.
There was something exotic looking about Mary that attracted me to her, (what we here in Hawaii call “Hapa-Haole”) and it didn’t hurt that as a sultry, conniving young hostess she showed up each episode duked out in the most fetching of outfits!
So I’m perusing  Youtube and come across an action fantasy called “GARO: RED REQUIEM”, and who should be starring in it as the the big bad evil priestess REKKA but Mary herself!
Such an awesome REVERSAL of character for her-in Asuko March, she played a svelte and captivating Beauty with the most wretched disposition, while in Garo she played a Demon Woman who learns to embrace her inner feelings of love and trust, two completely opposite sides of a coin:
Take a look at more of these side-by side comparisons examining the Sweet and Sexy, Sultry and Satanic Sides of Mary Matsuyama!
Hmmm, looking over her dramawiki stats, looks like Mary (or, rather Meari, as her name is actually phonetically spelled) hasn't done too much, (Hmm, says she was in Hammer Session, huh, don't remember her in that, will have to rewatch that one)...such a beauty, hope to see more of her soon!
