Just finished watching the wham bam gore-fest “Train To Busan”, Yeon Sang-Ho’s exciting zombie-apocalypse starring Gong Yoo, Jung Yumi, and Ma Dong Seok, and, pardon the pun, but what a ride it was!
Train to Busan tells the tale of a divorced man named Seokwoo (Gong Yoo)who is busy with his hectic job as a funds Manager for a huge firm, but when his daughter Suan (Kim Suan) wants to visit her mother in Busan the next day, he makes time to accompany her on th trip, which he expects to take an hour out of his schedule and then return to his job.
Also along on the trip are blustery tuff-guy Sanghwa (Ma Dong Seok)and his pregnant wife Seong Kyeong (Jung Yu Mi) as well as a high school teenage couple Young Gook (Choi Wooshik) and Jinhee (Ahn Sohee, whom I haven’t seen in ages since she left Wonder Girls all these years ago!) and though they are complete strangers to each other now, before this ride is over they will all get to know each other better than anyone!
Just before the train is about to depart, however, a last-minute stowaway hurls herself onto the train just before the doors close.
This girl is infected with a mysterious disease that is slowly taking over all of Korea, and once the malady sets in and she turns into a blood-hungry zombie, one by one the passengers on the train fall prey to the infection, til the handful of survivors must join together and fight against the hordes if they want to come out alive!
Seokwoo has always been a selfish and stand-offish man, and right off he clashes with Sanghwa , but when the times get tough, it is up to all of them to cooperate with each other to use their brains to fight their way thru the blood and carnage to the city of Busan!

Very exciting zombie movie including a few really innovative zombie-swarm scenes that blew my mind and still managed to fit in some sweet and touching scenes. No wonder this movie has been the talk of the horror aficionados lately!
