... this past week’s episode of Gomen Aishiteru (episode 7) cliffhanged with one of my most HATED cliches…won’t say what it is for those who haven’t watched it yet, but DAMMIT I thought this trope was over and done with. Back in the mid 90’s and early aughts I saw quite a few dramas pulling this twist on me, but this is 2017, people!!!
I love Gomen Aishiteru so much and I was SO into the episode and then for them to end with this cliche feels like getting hit on the head with a dead fish! I’m praying for a quick reparation in episode 8 ‘cause I DON’T wanna have to wade through the next few chapters if it’s going to follow in this style…Grrrr…
