That Was Yuri Tsunematsu

 Spent the entire time watching this week’s installment of “Okaeri Mone” wondering who this insanely pretty girl playing Mone’s childhood friend Asumi was!

Though she looked hella familiar, I just couldn’t place her, and was totally stunned when I checked the cast credits at the end and realized Asumi was played by none other than Yuri Tsunematsu, whom I had JUST watched in the highly entertaining “Joshikosei no Mudazukai” as Akane “Wota” Kikuchi!!

Oh WOW did Yuri look STUNNING in Okaeri Mone! And it's not a coincidence why she looks so good: As the childhood friends reunite, everyone makes a deal out of noting how “city-fied” Asumi has gotten and even point out that she’s wearing makeup now, a dazzling step up from the humble schoolgirl they once knew!

Yeah, thinking about it now, I should have immediately recognized her from her very prolific beauty spots…I think the thing that threw me off most was probably that Yuri had black hair, as I’d totally gotten used to seeing her with dyed locks!

In other notes, Okaeri Mone continues to entertain and Kaya Kiyohara reminds us that there still isn’t anyone sweeter! Just look at her face as she tries to read a beginner’s book about weather, LOL!

As is plain to see, the weather words and jargon prove to be a bit too confusing for the novice meteorologist’s first dip into the science!!! Don't worry Mone, you'll get it some day!

PS: Looks like Yuri will be appearing in the Naked Director’s second season as a newbie AV hopeful Mariko Nogi who becomes Muranishi’s new muse…Just another reason to check this one out!!!
