A Murder At Kotaro’s

As an avid viewer of jdramas one of my fave hobbies is recognizing sets and locations that they use over and over, and one they’ve been using a lot lately is the apartment complex from Kotaro wo Hitorigurashi! Every time I see it, I can’t help but feel like Kotaro and his friends Yu Yokoyama and Maika Yamamoto are still living up there!

So it was a hilarious (if slightly macabre) experience when the apartment appeared in an episode of Rasen no Meikyuu as a crime scene...and Yu Yokoyama’s apartment #202 was used as the murder victim’s home! 

Watching the detectives go inside, I half expected Kotaro and the gang to be in there...and when the room is shown covered in blood, LOL, I had to laugh because it looked like Kotaro and his friends had all been murdered in the room!! AHAHAHA!

So funny, they didn't even change the apartment number, hilarious! Even funnier, if I take the screencaps of the detective and replace them with pics of Maika from Kotaro, it seamlessly looks like SHE discovered the murder scene!

"Hey guys, I just heard the FUNNIEST Thing..."

"Wh..what the heck happened HERE??"

AHAHAHA!!!

Morbid humor aside, I'll be keeping an eye out for the NEXT appearance of Kotaro's apartment!!!
