On the 4th, actress Kitagawa Keiko will collaborate with painter Mucha in the new commercial "Mucha Live Action Edition" for Morinaga & Co.'s "Morinaga Biscuit" series. The commercial will be aired nationwide from the 8th.
The new commercial is the Mucha Foundation's first live-action version of Mucha's worldview. Kitagawa, who serves as the image character for the series, plays the role of the "moon goddess" in a vibrant blue dress, based on Mucha's unique worldview, including graceful female figures decorated with plant patterns. Under the brilliant full moon, Kitagawa gazes at the golden moonlight that seems to mimic it. The commercial begins with the narrator saying, "The crispy, soft egg flavor," and shows the Moonlight being baked until fluffy. When the screen returns to normal, Kitagawa's beautiful expression is shown as she looks at us. At the end, she poses in a way that is reminiscent of Mucha's most famous work, and the background changes from a full moon night to a Mucha work, making it a commercial that draws you into the world of the work just by watching it.
