Crush Of The Day: Maki Yoko

Was watching Episode 8 of LOSS TIME LIFE, this time about an overworked and unappreciated Section Chief named Kiyoki Horiike, and I was taken aback when who should appear on the screen as the title character but the sexy n stylish Maki Yoko!


This was an AMAZING coincidence, for as you all know, I've only recently become aware of just how AWESOME Maki Yoko is! First from her cool appearance as Oryo in Ryomaden and that SEXY-ASS pictorial that showed off Yoko's physical attributes, and I only JUST realized she was one of the girls in the HILARIOUS Eita/Juri Ueno movie SUMMER TIME-MACHINE BLUES that I've loved for a while!

While all those pictorials and shows have made me appreciate her more, it's this appearance in Loss Time Life that shows me just how terrific an actress Maki Yoko is! For the first time, I'm getting to see her real acting chops, and, in a way, a more "fleshed out" character than any of her previous ones!

Showing both gruff business-like exterior, she also managed to make us see her vulnerable side, and when her character Kiyomi dies from a heart attack after years of unappreciated overwork, it is such a joy to see her use her ADDITIONTIME time to unload on the whiners and creeps she's had to deal with in the company!


Ah, after seeing her in this, I've got such a soft spot for her! She truly is one of those actresses that grew on me little by little by little! From Ryomaden, I learned how cool she was, from her shashinshuus I got her sexy side, from Summertime Machine Blues I got her comedic side, and finally, with Loss Time Life, we've got the whole  package with warmth and love!

Oh My Gosh, Another terribly heartbreaking ending for another amazing episode of Loss Time Life!
