You know, one thing I've alway loved about Apink's Eunji is how sensible she is. The first time I noticed this was in Apink News Season One, where Apink are having a party in their dorm. Naeun had called in a order for delivery food, and when they began eating it, Bomi notices a mosquito on her chicken. She plucks the bug off and resumes eating. Naeun wonders if she should call the restaurant, but Eunji waves the suggestion off, saying, “Just remove the part and eat the rest. Don’t waste food!” I was laughing, thinking how frugal like a mother she was!
Then in Season Two, the girls get into trouble for having a dirty practice room, in particular the VERY nasty and dirty unmaintained refrigerator. When asked what to do with it, Bomi wants to throw it out for the trash, and Eunji is angry, saying that it is still a perfectly fine fridge that just need to be washed with water. But Bomi wants to get rid of it, saying she’ll pay for the pickup while Eunji is scolding, saying how you can just clean it and not waste things.
The thing that finally made me step back and realize how amazing and true-to-life Eunji’ssensible side is was when I was watching Apink’s latest guest appearance on 2Days 1 Night, where they were paired up with the guys for a kimbap-making challenge. Each member had to prepare an original wrap for their respective partner to eat with the ingredients provided. At first they’re making the rolls in earnest, but soon they start making them badly, putting too much rice, spicy oil, etc (for the sake of variety humor), and when Sugeun suggests Bomi purposely make it badly for fun, Eunji pipes up, admonishing,"Mom says you shouldn't play with food".
AHAHA, I thought, Yep, that’s the same sensible girl from Season One! WOW, she really does care about things! Love her!
