#Remolove: Futsuu no Koi wa Jado

Also started watching the new Haru romcommy drama “RemoLove” about an in-house Physician for a huge company named Dr. Mimi who has her hands full dealing with the effects of COVID19 and all the people within who regularly ignore rules, won’t wear masks, insist on coming in with high temperatures and disregard social distancing.
The usual resistance and denial regarding COVID19 safety...
Rina Kawaei spreading disinformation (and germs)
Even Mitsuhiro Oikawa , who was so reliable in Hanzawa Naoki, can't keep from gettin’ too close…
In these scenes, it's clear that you are supposed to be seeing Dr. Mimi as an obsessive tyrant with no social skills, but HOLY HELL , for ME, it was SO IRRITATING watching all the jackasses disobeying protocol...Like, daheck? I see jerks like this who refuse to wear masks and disobey rules in REAL LIFE, I don’t need to watch a drama where you’re supposed to be on THEIR SIDE.
One guy refuses to leave though he has a high temperature, and when she disinfects the area around him, he says, “You treat everyone like bacteria!” I’m like “Shut the hell up and put your mask on, jerk!” but the drama is supposed to show you that Mimi doesn’t think of the employees like people and needs to loosen up.
And then there’s this guy. He asks Mimi for advice, saying he just met a girl but she's been feeling sick. Haru suggests he stay away from her. Later , he confronts her and says, “ I don’t CARE about protocol- I LOVE her and I’m gonna see her.” So then I’m like “WHY ARE YOU EVEN ASKING FOR HER ADVICE THEN, DUMBASS.”
Anyway, story is, Dr. Mimi is supposed to be an uptight single lady who doesn’t feel the need for a partner, but when she makes a friend with an online gamer, she begins a sort of relationship with this anonymous love interest. It all builds up to when she realizes the  unknown guy actually works at her company, and she has to figure out which guy it is!
Meh, truthfully, I think ALL of the guys are jerks (save her assistant Nurse Daiki (Yuto Takahashi) so I really don’t care WHO it is. I don't want to see her hook up with ANY of them!
Man, yet another drama starring an actress I really like that I have no interest in watching. Too bad, because Haru looks so lovely in this one!
The drama isn't a TOTAL loss: Haru DOES take the time to visit the good ol' Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse, and of course even that Ferris Wheel made an appearance! So I’ve got that going for me, which is nice!
PS: Don’t know who this Momoko Fukuchi is that plays Daiki’s girlfriend, but she sure is a cutie!
