Heartbeats

Just watched the Thai film “Heartbeats” from 2019, about a sombre man named Chai (Theeradej Wanpuapan) who arrives at a  guesthouse in Chiang Mai. He comes across Wan (Chanchalerm Mansaporn), the daughter of the owner, who immediately falls for him. While showing him around, the two get close, but there is a deeper connection between them that they do not yet realize…

A straightforward but entirely charming movie, buoyed by the delightfully charismatic performance by actress Chanchalerm Mansaporn whose kinetic energy is on 100 percent as she throttles through the film!

Nodof had recommended the movie to me, promising Chachalerm “Proy” Mansaporn would steal my heart…and she did, at that!
