"Beshari Gurashi", the story of two young guys who dream of making it big as a Manzai Duo reminded me not just a little of the old 1996 Takeda Shinji/Tsutsui Michitaka drama "Konna Watashi ni Dare ga Shita", and I was gonna pass on it...until I realized Fuka Koshiba AND Mayu Hotta was in it, and immediately grabbed the first three episodes! So far, been pretty entertaining, with Shotaro Mamiya and Daichi Watanabe as the comedic hopefuls, with Mayu as Mamiya's childhood friend and Koshiba as Watanabe's former partner!
Also Yuma Yamoto and Yurina Yanagi as friends of the main characters......We'll see where this goes!
