Ai (Taira) is a scrappy and popular girl who is more like a tomboy than her best friend Hiroko (Shiori Yoshida), who notes that Aiko seems to care more about sports than things like romance!
Ai is a who excels in athletics and has dominated the girls basketball team and even some of the guys in the boys team! In fact, there’s only one person in the school whom she cannot beat, and that is Reo Amano (Kanta Sato), the most popular boy in school.The two become rivals over who can get the most people to fall for them, but something will happen that throws their whole lives into the air!
Ai’s older brother owns a Maid Cafe who are short of staff. Ai agrees to help out as a maid, but her gruff outlook is a detriment, so she gets dolled up and set with a wig before her shift, resulting in a very cute and spritely member to the team!
She takes to her job well,and even Hiroko and Ai's brother have to admit she's a natural!!
Of course, Reo notices the odd maid hiding and calls out to her-Aiko is mortified til he realizes he doesn’t recognize her under her girly disguise!!!!
Indeed, SO cute and fetching is Ai that Reo takes an interest in her, asking her for a date, and it’s here that her crafty mind decides that the best way to win their rivalry is to get Reo to fall in love with her! But, things don’t quite work out in her favor!!
After a pleasant date on the beach, the two find the buses have stopped running and they are stranded! In the end, the two nervously end up in a love hotel, much to Ai’s consternation!
At first the two seem like they are about to have sex with each other, but Reo suddenly pulls back and says he wants to cherish her more and ends up sleeping on the couch.
As she watches him fall asleep, Ai realizes that Reo might be a good guy after all...and she is stunned to realize the next day that SHE may be the one falling for Reo!!!
Aw man, Yuna Taira is SUCH a treasure! I already blathered on about how heartachingly sweet and naive she was in Onzoshi boys, and she continues the tradition here with another absolutely lovable heroine to root for!
