Also On The Slate

Some other dramas I started loosely watching this month but not much to say about them.
Miman Keisatsu: Midnight Runner
Story about two teens Kai (Kento Nakajima) and Sho (Jiro Ichinose) who become police rookies in training and their misadventures.
Fairly lightweight time killer, but they do have sexy Michiko Kichise as their instructor, so that’s a plus.
 13
Yuria Aikawa (Nanami Sakuraba) is a girl who was abducted as a child. After 13 years in captivity, she has escaped her captor and been returned to her family, but far from being happy, everyone has a hard time dealing with her return, including Yuria herself.
Yuka Itaya plays Yuria’s mother, making it the SECOND time I’ve seen her play a Mom whose child was abducted and then had an awkward reunion years later, in the excellent drama "Youkami no Semi" years back….
 Joshi Kosei no Mudazukai
Schoolroom drama about an energetically outspoken girl named  Nozomu (Yui Okada) and her two friends  Shiori (Yurika Nakamura) and Akane (Yuri Tsunematsu) as they deal with school, classmates, boys and other various teenager tropes. Could be a fun drama!
 Diary
Misako Renbutsu stars as Ayaka Miyata, a woman whose Mother has been in a coma since suffering a brain hemorrhage. While going through her mother's things she discovers a diary which her mother and her high school friends have been updating since graduation.
With the diary’s help, she traces her Mother’s past to her hometown and finds a side of her that she’s never known.
These and many more on the slate this month!
