Youtuber ni Musume wa Yaran!

 Chisa Taira’s (Nozomi Sasaki) happiest day of her life turns into the worst when her groom-to-be leaves her at the altar a la The Graduate (complete with Simon and Garfunkel overtures) and she and her family are left wondering what to do about the upcoming reception and all its attendees!

Father Soichiro (Kenichi Endo) had counted on giving a wonderful tearful speech while Mom Mieko (Yuki Saito) is worried about having to return all the gifts (LOL) if the entire event is cancelled. With the hotel demanding to know if they intend to continue the reception or call it quits, the family is pressured to make a decision!

When it is discovered that a popular Youtuber named TAKTAK (Junki Tozuka) and a bigtime TV Station director Shin Enomoto ((Nobuaki Kaneko), outspoken younger sister Fuka (Yumi Wakatsuki) has an inspired idea: to go ahead with the reception so everyone can do all the things they planned- and have TAKTAK (with some assistance from Enomoto) make a video in their famous style explaining the whole fracas to the guests!

In this way everyone gets to have their special moment for the non-refundable event and hopefully when the masterful video edit is finally presented, the guests will be sympathetic to Chisa’s plight!

And so, the wedding reception goes on as planned, much to the guests befuddlement! The cake is cut and the family carries on with all the speeches and announcements they'd intended, all biding time while TAKTAK puts together the ceremony video! 

Finally it is time for the wedding video to play, and it is a fine one, explaining to the audience that, yes, Chisa's groom left her at the altar, but he left because he loved someone else, no that he hated Chisa. He asks them not to see this as a failure of Chisa's but rather another chance to make a fresh start in her young life. And when the well wishes from her family end the video, there is not a dry eye in the place!

After the reception, the family can finally breathe a sigh of relief- they pulled it off! Chisa relaxes with her would-be conspirators  but is taken aback when TAKTAK the youtuber AND Enomoto the TV Director BOTH PROPOSE to Chisa!

An entirely wacky, silly and SPIRITED comedy full of zany hijinks that promises to entertain, with Nozomi looking as lovely as ever and WOWOW, Yumi Wakatsuki looking fine as heck!!! Those are more than reason enough to check this one out!!!

PS: Don't know who this Nobuaki Kaneko is, but gotta confess, the whole time I was watching him, I thought he was Odagiri Joe!

Only when I looked up the credits did I realize it was some other dude!
